Les Chateaux d'Eau - Infrared Photography

France is adorned with characterful artefacts known as 'Chateau d'Eau' which serve as water-towers for communities. Their distinctive silhouettes can be seen from far away, standing proud above trees, gaunt and nude across meadows, reaching high above flame-like leaves of sweetcorn, huddled amongst buildings, crouching in villages, peering over rooftops or squeezed into urban settings.
